Sad news from Bandera

Long time athletic supporter and Grandfather to Dustin Heep, running back from the State Championship team in 2002 football team, has passed away after a short illness.

He will be sorely missed for his athletic support and financial contributions to the Bandera athletic program over the years.

He will be buried on Friday April 30, 2004 at 3:00 p.m in Bandera .

I know that he would want all players from Bandera and people that have been fortunate enough to know him to give his family an extra prayer and a nod at that time.

Al Heep has moved on.....

I remember Heep in 2002; sorry to his family for the loss. Grandfathers give us many wonderful memories--how nice that he was able to support his grandson during his high school career.

I remember Heep from 2002. There was a big banner that read "Heep of Trouble"!! It was TRUE!!

I hate to hear that about his grandfather...the family is in my prayers!!
