State Qualifiers Meet in Burnet
The city of Burnet and the Burnet CISD would like to invite all state track & field qualifiers and alternates to compete in the 1st Annual State Qualifiers Track & Field Meet to be held in Burnet, Texas on Friday, May 7, beginning at 2:30 pm. Burnet offers beautiful scenery, a warm, humid climate similar to Austin, and a fine facility with a 7-lane track. Jumping and throwing areas a large, with a new (large) landing area for the pole vault. The facility also includes plenty of seating for all events, and a new state-of-the-art scoreboard that posts times and results following the races. Personalized awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each event, along with awards for the winning relay teams. All running events will be seeded by time, with the fastest heats running last. Throwing and jumping events will have prelims and finals, and may be flighted, depending on the number of entries. Don’t miss out on the chance to run, jump, and throw with or against some of the finest athletes in the state of Texas.

2:30 Scratch Meeting
3:15 3200m (G,B)
High Jump (G,B)
Pole Vault (B,G)
Long Jump (G,B)
Triple Jump (B,G)
Shot Put (G,B)
Discus (B,G)
All other running events will begin at the conclusion of the field events:
4x100m Relay (G,B)
800m Run (G,B)
110m/110m Hurdles (G,B)
100m Dash (G,B)
4x200m Relay (G,B)
400m Dash (G,B)
300m Hurdles (G,B)
200m Dash (G,B)
1600m Run (G,B)
4x400m Relay (G,B)
