Cameron plays Caldwell in the district opener this Friday. Both teams seem evenly matched to me. How do yall think this one will end?

Cameron doesn't look like the usual Cameron team, they have been struggling some and Caldwell is playing pretty good right now. I think after the shutout win over Giddings, that Caldwell will come in highly confident and do just enough to pull off the win.

Caldwell 20- Cameron 14

Defensively, Caldwell will shut down Cameron's offense. Pittman is good and in Pittman style, Cameron will have a few big plays, but Caldwell's defense will be stout and make things hard on Cameron. I say Caldwell wins this one playing at home and coming off two shutouts. For those that did not see the Giddings game, Caldwell had 4 turnovers which they will have to fix. It was just like the Liberty Hill game. Without the turnovers, Caldwell had like 7 yds per carry. they also had a TD called back on a home call by the officials. Without these miscues Caldwell easily wins by 3-4 TD's (21-0). This is not the Caldwell of old and those of you that are still doubters, come and see. For those of you wondering, I do not think Caldwell lost anyone to grades. I saw them all on the sideline on Friday.

This will be a good one. Obviously seen them both play. Cameron beat Giddings by 4 at Cameron and Caldwell beat Giddings by 7 at Giddings.

Cameron's offense is better than Caldwell's, but Caldwell has a tougher D.

Gotta go with Yoe on this one, though. Pittman is a "difference-maker." Cameron by a TD, but not more.

Good luck to both teams. Glad we're not in this district this year...

Caldwell should make sure they have metal detectors at the doors of the lockerroom

Caldwell is not bad. I saw cameron play Giddings. This ought to be a great game. It certainly has playoff implications. Marlin is good and Rockdale and lorena are very well coached. This district race is gonna be a barnburner.

This district will come down to Cameron and Marlin in the last gamee. I've seen Cameron this week and practice and they are 10 time as good as they were when they played giddings so I think Cameron will win this one easily.(35-7)

I saw the Orange Crush in practice yesterday and man, oh man, are they fired up! Got some players back and have worked out kinks that plagued them vs. Liberty Hill and Giddings. Can't wait to see a game without subs. The offense is more wide open now so you can't just focus on one guy. Way to Go, Swarm! New coordinators are doing a great job!
