The boys have cinched a co-championship in baseball. They are one game ahead of Mathis. If Mathis wins then Sinton and Mathis will be co-champions but Mathis would represent the district as the winner by beating Sinton twice during the season and Sinton would get the runner up spot. If Sinton wins or even ties (very unlikely but you never know) then Sinton wins the district outright and Mathis is 2nd.

This last game of the season between Sinton and Mathis is to be in Sinton this Friday at 7:00 P.M.

The girls have a bye this week and already played one warm up game tonight beating Port Aransas 6 to 3. Hopefully they will get another one this weekend or early next week.

Last year's last game with Mathis was a 3-2 Sinton win?

If Sinton can win this game it would help our Pirates for the playoffs. Mathis has played us so tough the last two years...

The weather people are predicting rain late Friday, lets hope they're right for once and it is late, late Friday night. I'm sure it'll be a loaded ballpark this Friday. I know it is not football, but I know we would all hate to see the boys lose the game/district championship to Mathis at home. I don't think they've lost a home district game in at least 4 years?? Can anyone help me out with this stat?

Pirate rain out might be a blessing for Sinton because on Friday some of the Sinton players will be competing at the Regional Track meet in Kingsville so we may not be in full force Friday night.
