They will have an awesome passing game in the 2004-2005 season. Joey Harrington at qb, WR Charles Rogers, and WR Roy Williams will mess the opponents secondary up because you can't double up to recievers. When they double one they can go to the other.

Now they drafted Kevin Jones.

Now after their 2cd round pick they drafted Teddy Lehman, they keep adding great ball players.

If they can get any consistency going on the OL this year, they should really be dangerous on the offensive side of the ball. IMO, they are definately having one of the best drafts, if not THE best. The only thing that hurts them, is that afterall they are still the Detroit Lions.

I'm hoping to see the Boys play the Lions this year @ home. I have a lot of family that live in Michigan so I pull for the Lions as my second team--just not against my Cowboys!

Them adding Teddy Lehman adds a lot of speed at the linebacker position for them.

Ya, they COULD have a decent passing game next year IF Joey Harrington plays better. He has yet to play like a top draft pick he was a couple of years ago. Rogers might as well be a first year guy, Williams will be a first year guy, I wouldn't start calling them world-beaters yet.

With Harrington at QB, the corners covering Williams and Rogers should have fantastic seasons! I think Harrington is overrated - and I think Kevin Jones is probably going to be a "workhorse" back, not an all-pro...

In 2-3 years don't be surprised to see the a contender

With all due respect, I see them drafting a QB in the first round in two or three years. Houston certainly seems to have gotten the better deal in the Carr/Harrington choice. They certainly had a good draft, though.

I've never been a big fan of Harrington. I think that this season will be a defining year in his career, and if he fails, look for the Lions to make a move.

The Detroit Lions are a very young team.....I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Super Bowl in a few years.
