Who will the Cowboys draft?

I'm thinking RB Kevin Jones of V.T. If not available, Cowboys may trade down and take some offensive line-men. Shaun Andrews of Arkansas could come in and start.

I've heard that the Cowboys wanted to get Chris Perry out of Michigan, but I would much rather see them get a young QB so they can have something to build the franchise around. The QB they have just doesn't have what it takes to lead the team to the prestige the Cowboys once had.

They did get QB Drew Henson from the Texans. I think they are looking for immediate help. They need help on the o-line, rb, and cb.

Trade Larry Allen and their first to move up for Steven Jackson. Perry is a fumbler and Kevin Jones screams "bust" to me. Henson should be the QB of the future.

All week on ESPN they've been saying the Cowboys would like to draft Chris Perry, but if he's gone they'll look at Miami's Vernon Carey, who could play guard or tackle, and Arkansas tackle Shawn Andrews.

There are always quality RB's being drafted in the later rounds, including this year with guys like Notre Dame's Julius Jones and Oklahoma St.'s Tatum Bell.

I wouldn't mind seeing Oregon State's Stephen Jackson as a Cowboy. They need some help at linebacker too, so they might even pick one up in the 4th or fifth. cough...Teddy Lehman..cough.

I think the Cowboys have their eyes set on Kevin Jones of VT, but I'm thinking he probably won't be on the board when the Cowboys are on the clock...I really hope they do draft Chris Perry...he showed me a lot in his last few games...he may not have breakaway speed, but he seems to have that intangible factor that makes great running backs.

I think they will take the best player on the board as long as he is a o line, d line, RB, or corner. If they can fill any of those needs with a great player....let it be!

I hope they get Perry, I think it would be a good move. With him it might just give them a chance to open up a passing game.:thumbsup:

has anyone heard if the Cowboys/Bucs switched picks? I saw in the Corpus Caller Times that they did, but they aren't very reliable. :rolleyes:

Cowboys still have #22 as of right now...I doubt they could trade with the Bucs because Dallas doesn't want to give up any picks...I've heard talk of trading down so they can get more picks, not trading up.
