All of this talk of up and comers in District 18, and none of Rockdale. Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine ranked the Tigers 4th. They are leaving out that a group of sophomores coming from a J.V. district championship are moving up to the varsity level. I think that we will have one of the better teams that we've had in years past, and that we deserve a little bit more respect than what we have been getting. I will give credit where credit is due, however. Marlin is going to have an excellent running game just as they had last year. Cameron has a talented group of juniors who were on varsity as sophomores last year, and look how well they faired. I'm not sure about Caldwell, but I hear that they will have a pretty good team from last year, and the same from Troy. But don't count the Tigers out of the playoffs just yet, you just may be in for a big suprise.
