OK I've just decided I don't like the new user rating thingys. I see I'm a junior varsity poster. This is for member #50 and been here since Oct. 2001. I read more than I post and I don't jump on every thread and share my 2 cents....well thats my rant for the day!

Actually, we discussed this for about two weeks before we went with this. That said, NOTHING is set in concrete. If you can come up with something better, I'm sure Matthew is willing to listen.

I guess we need a "cheerleader" rating for someone who has been on the board a long time but doesn't post much.

It was pretty entertaining, in fact discussion forums really didn't appeal to me until the downlow came along.;)

i was thinking, and maybe if there was a way to track views and stuff like that, they could be something, obviouls ppl would have to be honest , but they could be 1 point, posts 2 points, new threads like 5 or 10, or maybe leave out the whole view part, but maybe a few more points for starting a thread, and the length of a persons accnt i think should have some poise as to what there tating could be, maybe 1 yr earns you 30 pnts, 2 yrs 50 pnts, and so on and so forth...just my two cents. im jsut glad there is somewhere we can all talk and what not have a good time, laugh w/ each other and pick up those who arent feeling good. thanks down low

That's a decent idea, but there's no provision for it in this software. This one is based on # of posts only, as are most bulletin boards that I've checked out. Might not be a bad idea to visit. www.vbulletin.com and pass along the suggestion though.

I don't post enough to get the quote box to work for me. Pep Squad? They might not even let me in the stadium:doh:
