It depends on the church, but there are two different steps. First is to be licensed, then ordained. Some churches combine the steps, but Woodridge Baptist does not.

I had to pay a little more,I always have to pay more, thats alright I should have to pay . I have a good income and a lot of assests and I am glad to be in a situation where I am able to pay my share.I am going to give you a figure some of you are aware of and some are not. SEVEN TRILLON,ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX BILLION, SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY MILLION,SIX HUNDRED AND SEVENTY ONE THOUSAND,FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY THREE DOLLARS AND EIGHT CENTS.Thats what our national debt was as of 2:15 this afternoon,Since it is going up at the rate of 78 million dollars an hour it is much higher by now. I saw where one of our members or maybe I should say his wife is expecting a baby in November, congratulations I wish it was going to be mine, all my children are grown and my grandchildren are getting there.DID you know that that little miracle is going to be born owing $24,387.34,thats one person's share of the national debt.I didn't mean to start preaching but I guess I did. What I was trying to get at was we all need to worry less about whether we owe a few hundred or get a few hundred back and more about how our country can carry this debt load.I don't have that many years left,it's the young people I worry about.
