K-ville is in the lead with 44 pts and Newton is 2nd with 36 pts, and Newton a kid that is very good in 400 yrd dash and he has the 3rd fastest time in the disrtict i think that he might make it to regional this yea, and all of the relays is today............. so if you are there enjoy.................

It is looking good for Kirbyville and Newton. Do you know what events these points represent? Probably the field events? Thanks for the report. :)

Announced during the baseball game that Jasper scored over 200 points and finished first in boy's track. The meet was at Diboll.

Congratulations to the Jasper Dogs! :) I knew Coach Spoon would have his guys ready by district time. He almost always does. It will be interesting to see how many qualified for the Regional meet. If anyone has the meet details, please post that here. I have checked all the newspaper and track sites that I know of without success.

Thanks for the report Wildcat.

I apologize. :( I said 43.xx would not win the district in the 400m relay but it did. Jasper won in 43.2 seconds, Newton was second at 43.41 seconds.
