Except for Sinton I hope Forney wins it this year because of all the times they have had great teams that just couldn't go all the way. The luck of the draw was against them two years ago and was with Sinton which is a big factor. Two years ago Sinton probably got the best hitting team the first game (Abilene Wyley) and was able to win it while Forney won against a tough Lorena team that took extra innings but they had to use their ace in the late game. Sinton had a second good pitcher (who would have been most teams' ace pitcher) and Forney had good backups but Sinton made some good hits and won the game. Forney showed great class in losing though I know it was a disappointment to them. Last year Sinton wasn't as lucky in the draw and had a tough first game and lost to Lorena by one run for the state championship. If not Sinton then I hope this is Forney's year.

How many kids on Forney's team play just baseball?

Thanks Phil C., It's nice to have someone else pulling for our team. And the sentiment comes right back at you. Both Sinton and Forney have great teams that should go deep into the playoffs. Hope that one of them takes it all this year.

I agree, Phil. I would love to see Forney take it all the way. They have had some great teams over the last four years. Love to see a rematch between the Pirates and Jackrabbits, but there's a lot of good teams between now and then. Good luck to the 'rabbits the rest of the way.
