I just spent 20 minutes writing a very thoughtful reply to the Condy Rice topic only to find when I tried to post it at 6:45pm that it had been closed at 6:38pm. If I get much of that, I will quit posting. If politics are off limits, then what are the ground rules?

There aren't any ground rules as it pertains to political posting...however the main focus of this board is football and will always be football...personally I try and steer clear of all political posting...as I have said before politics is a LOT like religion....people have VERY passionate views on the subject and will argue on them to no end..the pig almost deteriorated into a political board becuase of all the politics...until they made a rule to limit all political posting to one topic per day....I REFUSE to let this board become that...I want people to have freedom to post what they want when they want....BUT if I or any other moderator feel a thread is starting to deteriorate they have my FULL blessing to close it...politics and arguing them typically only brings about hard feelings and anger...we all have our thoughts and opinions and I seriously doubt anyone on here regardless of political affiliation will change them....
