Congrats!! Being a new father just a mere 32 days ago I can say that it is a life changing experience even though I don't have my little girl home from the hospital yet! I am happy for you because it is a special time for you & your wife. Enjoy it!!

Was in Sears one weekend to have pictures made of youngest kid who at the time was about 3 or 4 months old. We were early so we shopped for some baby stuff...onesies, blankets, etc. My baby girl is looking so cute, all dressed up to have her picture made. I'm paying for the items that we bought to kill time when I hear my daughter grunt. I look down in the stroller at her and she is making that face, then POW, then the smell. My wife says "we'll be right back". I'm waiting in Sears for a few minutes when my wife and kid return. My cute little baby girl is now wearing different clothes. I asked what happened. My wife says that the poo was so powerful that not only did it fill the diaper but it blew out the top and all up her back to her neck. Needless to say we did not make the picture session. Welcome to parenthood.

One word of advice, SLEEP while you can. In my opinion, sleep deprivation was the worst thing I remember when my daughter was a baby. I would be so sleepy, I would be crying and she would be wide awake at 3:00 a.m. Good news though, that doesn't last forever, as a matter of fact, it passes so fast. My daughter is 12 now and I would love to curl up in the recliner with her, but she would find that so "un-cool" you know!!

I remember the first night my little girl slept through the night. My wife and i woke up, realized that she didn't get up in the middle of the night, so we rushed into her room to make sure that she was okay....ahhh the memories.
