Arm injury sidelines hot Forney pitcher

Forney's Brandon Hewett will miss the rest of the season because of torn ligaments in his right arm, coach James Boxley said. The right-hander was 2-1 and allowed two earned runs in 19 innings.

How awful for that young man! I hope he has a full recovery and that this injury doesn't hurt his chances at a college career, if that is what he wants.

he was definitely the ace pitcher coming into the season, but he hasn't pitched in a while, and Forney has a heck of a shutout streak going, so we might be alright.
