I think you can delete your own post if you do it quickly enough. I seem to remember there being a time limit on it, though. Like five minutes or something like that. Don't remember exactly.

That feature may be disabled though.

I post at another board that uses vBulletin, and the way to delete posts there is to click on the "Edit" button and then hit the "Delete" button at the very top of the screen.

Also, check the box on the left top before pressing "delete" on the right top. Try it and see if it works.
