Cuero plays Sinton Jan 2. What kind of team do ya'll have?

Cuero is 6-3. I have not seen them play yet.

Sinton has a good basketball team. They just won the tournament in Port Aransas and beat a ranked Port Aransas team and last night they whipped Corpus Christi Academy so it should be a good game. Old are you coming to the game next Friday? I have to work that day but if you are coming I sneak away for a couple of hours to go to it. I think the game time is 12:30 P.M. but you never know how schedules are going to change. Last night we were scheduled to go to Corpus Christi to play but due to conflicts with their gym they asked if the game could be played in Sinton and like good neightbors we obliged them. :)

The Sinton Freshmen are good too. I probably won't be able to make that one go but those that can should go.

Hope you get to come 44. I will be wearing the Spurs cap. I may not get to see the freshmen game because we have a lot of people taking the day off since it is right after New Year's Day but I will try to make it to the varsity. By the way the Sinton schedule says they play at 12:30 P.M. (varsity) and the freshmen play at 10:00 A.M. Does that agree with your schedule? I am always cautious before district because basketball locations and schedules are subject to change. I once went to Odem to see a game as was on the schedule and no one was there at the Odem gym then we came back and thought maybe it was in Sinton but no one was at the Sinton gym. We were glad we only traveled 7 miles instead of 70. :)

We also have a pretty good JV team. Varsity is 8-7 and just beginning to jell. Won the PA tourney but all other teams were 2A or private schools,.

Buc do you know our freshmen record? I think they are doing good. They won the G-P tourney.

Wharton is going to be a force in Region 4. Just to let you fellas know, these boys can play some ball. Kellen Heard, Demetrisce Dogins, Trey Jones are all seasoned players. Good supporting cast and good chemistry.

The only game I know the Freshman lost was to Calallen. The JV's beat Calallen. They both beat Beeville.
