Lots of thunderstorms and rain tonight in Sinton. I don't think there is any way they will be able to have the make up baseball game between Sinton and Ingleside tomorrow night. In fact with this weather I don't think there will be any games on Tuesday night! Lots of rain! Holy Chiwawa!

It's raining cats and dogs here for the last 4 hours. Also having a pretty good light show with a lot of thunder.

Weather forecast is no clearing up until Wednesday.

I passed by the Statuary place outside of sinton this morning, because i was stranded in corpus and on my way home, and there were statues(made of concrete mind you) tipped over. These were some large statues and they all looked like they were thrown around. Very scary. Also, the I-37 South sign near the 37/SPID interchange in CC was mangled in half. One haf still posted, the other, on the left shoulder... very eerie images.

You guys were blasted friday night and now last night. That must have been some wind to have tossed those statues. District303aPastPlayer, were some of those like the gorilla sized ones?

Our mulberry tree was split in half! We had just pruned it, because limbs were weighed down by the fruit and now this. Our yard is a mess and with more rain expected this week, it is gonna be hell trying to clean up all that mess! :(

I'm just glad there wasn't any damage to our vehicles!! :D

No, they didn't seem like they were some of the smaller statues. But still... they were concrete statues that were thrown like small trees. I saw on the news that there was hail in the area as well.

It has rained her for 2 days now. There were 5 tornados from Pecos to Seminole Saturday night. A bridge collapsed somewhere on I-20 close to Pecos and dam broke somewhere around there also.

Carlsbad, New Mexico was evacuated because of the 7-8 inches of rain they received.

We just went through a mini-hailstorm here. I'm glad I'm sitting in my jammies in from of my computer right now!!

I saw on the news here this morning that Crystal City got really hammered. Lots of damage. There also was a report from just across the border near Piedras Negras where they said it rained so much that a river rose 25 feet in fifteen minutes. Something like fifteen people known dead and another fifty missing.

I wish you guys would send some of that rain here. I'm surely not ready to start watering the lawn. (Not that I ever do it much anyway...)

It is still raining in the Sinton area. I am sure that the baseball and softball games will be postponed. This will put the baseball team with two games to make up now. The Nueces River is very high and will possibly be overflowing soon.

Looks Like my vacation is is going to be a waste if all these storms don't let up. Three inch hail was reported in Goliad this morning.
