I found this just now...

http://www.usatf.org/events/2004/OlympicTrials-TF/entry/qualifyingStandards.asp
Says the Automatioc qual. time is a 10.07 and it has to be run between January 1, 2003 - July 1, 2004.

Then i found this....

http://www.collegesports.com/sports/c-track/stories/053003abs.html

In that article it says "Blanton wasted no time in the 100, taking the lead right out of the blocks before finishing in a legal time of 10.07. The time is the best in the country through qualifying today and is the best non wind-aided time for a Sooner since 1976. It also was just .03 off the OU school record. "

So i guess since he ran that 10.07 on May 30, 2003 that qualifies him for the Olympic Trials in the 100 meter dash

the Forney Messenger had an article about him a week or two ago that said he had qualified for the trials...I don't have a copy of it, but I'm sure someone out there probably does.

well, the 10.07 said it's from may of '03, so that's probably why it's not listed on the best times of this year.

I noticed on that first link showing the qualifiying times for the trails that 10.07 was for the "A" group and 10.25 for "B"...what's the difference between the two?

If I am not mistaken, The A group are the automatic qualifiers. If there are not enough auto qualifiers, then they go to the "B" group to fill up the rest of the field.
