Congrats to the Leps, sounds like this one went down to the wire.

It was an exciting game for sure. Sealy recovered a fumbled openning kick-off but the LG D held them, forcing a FG. On the ensuing posession Anderle moved the chains down to the Tiger 45 and then hit TE Schramm on a deep route down the left hash marks for the go ahead TD. Sealy got a short field after a couple of coffin corner punts kept the Leps contained deep in their own territory on the following two possessions. But the Leps did not yield forcing Sealy to settle again for a FG. The Leps stopped the Andrus/Brantley Express time and again to perserve the 7-6 lead in the third and early fourth quarters, then put together a beautiful running drive in the last of the 4th to score over the RT (#70 what a block!!!) on a 20 yard run by the fullback Thornten. Two point conversion good by Anderle again over RT to put the Leps up 15-6. The Leps had been moving the chains consistantly between the 30 yardlines but the Sealy D frustrated them several times. But the superior conditioning and O line of the Leps prevailed in the end. Way to go Leps!!! Now on to Orangefield.! :D :D :D

I've said many times that in Texas High School football, you should NEVER count La Grange out. Cuero lost tonight, but that's another one you just don't count out. Congrats Leopards!
