I'm pissed about them charging $10 to join this service. What a rip!!! Anyone else use this?

Pick a prof is an online service that students can join to rate professors at their school, and read reviews about them, see their grade distributions, and other information in order to pick a professor that suits you for the next semester.

I use it at UT and I think the money I spend on it is well worth it. The reviews are posted by students who have taken a prof.'s class, so you can pick the professors that give mostly As, are helpful, have easy tests, etc. I used it to pick the classes I'm taking now and the service was really helpful.

Well that clears that up... sounds like a good investment... I guess it just depends on how bad you need to use this information... I'd spend the $10 bucks for it... is it a onetime fee or every semester?

I'd pay it every semester if I had to. It would've been worth it. The only problem is that when you major in music, you normally don't have the luxury of choosing your professor.

According to my daughter, A&M is so crowded you don't get much chance to choose your prof anyway, 'cause they either don't have enough sections of each course or they only have one guy teaching it. She used the service for a couple of years and said it was pretty accurate.

I'm a prof, but my university is not listed!!!! Cameron University

Wonder what my students say about me? Back when we had stars on this site I owned only 4 stars most of the time!!!! So I had some haters on me.

At $30,000/yr, I think you're paying for it! ;)
