Comments: Ragan Blake improves dto17-0 on the mound
for Elkins (25-0) with a one hit, 11-0 win over
Hightower. LaPorte (18-0) kept pace with as Tiffany
Garcia three hit Deer Park in a 4-0 win. Tomball
(18-1) ripped Langham Creek 13-1as Roxy Meadows
doubled, tripled and earned her sixth win of the year.
San Antonio O'Connor beat San Antonio Clark by a
score of 10-0 but then lost on Friday to San Antonio
Holmes by a score of 6-2. O'Connor is now 19-4 and 5-1
in District while Holmes in now 14-2-1 and 5-1 in
district. Rio Grande City beat PSJA North by a score
of 7-6 and then beat Edinburg Economedes 11-0 and
improved to 21-1 and 6-0 in District. In district
27-5A, Smithson Valley (11-5) defeated S.A. Harlandale
(17-3). San Antonio Marshall is (20-2). Cedar Park
is dominating in district action at 6-0 while Magnolia
is 19-4 after beating Jersey Village 6-1.Garland is
14-1 while Southlake Carroll is 17-4-1, flower Mound
is 10-1-1 and Keller is 16-4.

Comments: Holly Marabella out-dueled Randy Wright as
Santa Fe (19-2) improved to 7-0 in district with a 1-0
win over Dickinson. Brenham beat Terry 9-1 and
Montgomery 5-0 last week. Brenham is now 23-2 and 2-0
in district. Carlee Winkelmann is 12-1; Megan
Winkelmann is 10-1. Big Spring is 22-2—1 with a 12-1
record against Class 5A competition. Big Spring won
the Brewer Tournament with a 7-0 win over Midland.
Big Spring crushed San Angelo Lakeview 16-1 and
Levelland 17-0 last week. Uvalde beat Boerne (12-3)
2-1 and Medina Valley (16-6) 5-2 to improve to 16-5-1.
McKinney North (10-2) beat Paris 8-1. Dumas takes
over sole possession of first place in District 3-4A
by downing previously undefeated Pampa 2-0 in 8
innings behind Jordan Gresham's 8 strikeout 3 hitter.
Dumas also beat Amarillo Caprock 9-3. The feeding
frenzy is on in the Metroplex with the tops teams
beating each other. Crowley (12-4-1), Birdville
(15-3), McKinney North (11-2), Richland (11-7-1) and
Justin Northwest (13-3) are hovering around the top
spot. Taylor’s Tera Eulenfeld is dominating district
17-4A.

Comments: Splendora is 13-1 after Tiffany Ritchie
hurled a no hitter in a 15-0 win over Cleveland.
Caldwell (16-1-1) beat Rockdale 12 - 2 in 5 innings
the blanked Marlin 6 - 0 as Brandi Crnkovic fired her
fourth no hitter of the season. Bridge City has
out-scored their district opponents 84-2 in seven
games. Pearsall (15-3) beat Crystal City by a score
of 9-8 and then beat Cotulla 4-2. Borger is swinging
the big bats with a 1-0 win over canyon in eight
innings. Borger also blanked Amarillo River Road
10-0. Hamshire-Fannett beat Harkin 4-1 while Bridge
City blasted Buna 16-1 as Meagan Godwin had a first
inning grand slam. Pollok Central upset Lufkin Hudson
1-0 on an unearned run.
Elgin is 17-2 with quality wins over: Georgetown,
Troy, Austin Crockett and Cameron and finished second
in the 5A Belton tournament plus won their own
Invitational. The lady Wildcats return seven
lettermen including six starters one of which is
pitcher Katie Garnett (17 wins). Elgin beat LaGrange
2-1. Wharton is (15-7, 1-0) after beating Rice
Consolidated 12-0. Sweeny (13-7, 1-0) beat Palacios
6-3 as Alicia Bonner won her eight game of the year.
Canyon standout Leslie Weston, a signee with Texas
A&M-Corpus Christi has led the lady
Eagles to an 18-3 start including a 12-4 win over
Perryton Friday. Wharton beat Needville 3-1 and Edna
12-2 to improve to 17-7 and 3-0 in district. Paris
North Lamar is 19-2 while Barber’s Hill is 18-3-1
after beating Shepherd 5-1.


Class 2A
1. Prosper
2. Weimar
3. Coahoma
4. Alto
5. Deweyville
6. Aubrey
7. Howe
8. Grand Saline
9. Clyde Eula
10t. Lexington
10. Whitewright
Comments: Grand Saline is quickly dominating the
competition in 2A while Prosper is 11-1 while
Deweyville beat New Waverly 10-0 and East Chambers
1-0. Alto is roaring back after a slow start due to
basketball playoffs but the Ladyjackets are 5-0 in
district with wins over Woden and Timpson. Weimar won
twice beating Ganado 15-0 in four and Amanda Rosenauer
pitching a no hitter and defeated Van Vleck 5-4. Howe
is 8-1 (7-0) while Whitewright is 11-6 (6-1).
Lexington, Academy and Jarrell are all playing well.

Comments; Burton beat Bremond 10-6 in district action.
Freshman lefthander Brentney Swindle tossed five
innings, scattering three hits and striking out 10
Lady Hornet hitters in the game shortened by run rule
as Collinsville spanked Dodd City 14-1. Milano run
ruled Snook 12-2. Sam Rayburn is 6-2 after beating
Slidell 17-2 and Savoy beat Trenton 11-3 as Mindy
Woodson doubled twice and tripled in going 3-for-4
with four RBIs.
