Please use this site for District scores of softball games played within Region III. There is a site being started for Region IV....Would someone also start like sites for Region I and Region II softball district games?......

I didn't just start the Region IV standings site this year -- I've been doing it for a couple of years. I would like to add the entire state to my site, especially in my position of state softball committee chairperson, I can help out all of the coaches by doing this.

So just send them to me and I'll get it done!!

That sounds great, we will try to gather the info from assorted sources (Coaches and non-Coaches) and you can transfer the info and use it from these gathering sites from each Region. Most of the folks on 3A Down Low are not Coaches and this is a convenient place to assemble info from each other and also for your master District score list.

18, can you share the scores that you already have on here? Many of us have no access to the list you are developing for TGCA..... Then we can attempt to fill-in-the-blanks from across the State here on 3A Down Low, for everyone to share....

Bellville 1, Columbus 0

Very frustrating night for the 'Nettes. Hit the ball well, but left tons of girls on base. Finally put up the run in the top of the 7th on a 2 out hit by Freshman Luetge.

Pieper was outstanding from the circle. 2 hits allowed i believe.

Wasn't pretty, but it's a W.

From the Shiner Tourney, Bellville goes 4 & 1, taking 3rd. The 2 old nemeses met again, with La Grange getting revenge, winning 3-1 and sending the Brahmanettes to the 3rd place game. LG & Bellville are evenly matched this year. The ladies in red definitely had their chances in this game, especially in the last inning. They loaded the bases in the bottom of the last inning with no outs and plated nobody. It was heartbreaking and disappointing, but it was a game that didn't count in the big scheme of things. Mandy Bertsch pitched a good game, keeping the Bellville hitters off balance most of the game. Not a lot of strikeouts, but effective.

In Bellville's district opener, as reported by Bellville22, Bellville loaded the bases with one out in the first and hit into a double play. Lots of base runners the rest of the way, but only one run finally put across in the top of the seventh. C-town had 3 hits - a bunt, a blooper over third, and catcher Anderson had rocket to right for a double. Bellville next travels to Navasota Tuesday.

Bellville 9, Navasota 1

Bellville's bats were alive last night. Numerous doubles. 'Nettes hit throughout the lineup.

Pieper had a slight problem with control, but was able to settle down and pretty much shut down a pretty solid Navasota lineup.
