Why do the animated "smilies" stop their animation a few seconds after the page loads?

Okay jason, maybe they don't on your computer. But, why would I take the time to post this thread if it wasn't something I had noticed to be occuring?:rolleyes:

They only stop on mine when I'm scrolling throught the page but other than that they stay moving.

Is there some kind of smilie union or what? I wouldn't trust those smilies that stop working...

Hmmm, the eek and rolleyes continued to work, but the clap hands did stop after about 20 seconds. Apparently, there's something wrong with that particular smiley.
