O-K-A-Y ... well they all wear glasses and are/were bald(ing)! :D Give us a hint, they have too many things in common. Sans Couth
05-24-2004, 03:13 PM
Does it have something to do with Mary Tyler Moore, a package of cherry jello, and a bottle of chiante'?

Sans Couth
05-24-2004, 03:19 PM
Dick's character was a writer for a tv show.

Kelsey's character was a radio head shrink.

Phil's character worked in news radio.

All of their characters smoke cigarettes and drink heavily. And they have all played in at least one movie with a cast member from saturday night live.

I give up.

Dick Van Dyke was born Richard Van Dyke
Phil Hartman was born Phil Hartman

SANS COUTH you are now on the clock...

Sans Couth
05-25-2004, 08:13 AM
OK

Here is an easy one.

Ted and Doug did it four times each in their carreers, but Fred did it twice in one game.

District303aPastPlayer
05-25-2004, 08:51 AM
switch hit home run?

Sans Couth
05-25-2004, 08:54 AM
NOPE:

HINT: The game is football.

score a touchdown on offense & defense?? :D

Sans Couth

LOL,

Trust me this is much tougher. The most it has ever been done by a single player is 4 times in a CAREER like the question states. But one guy did it TWICE in ONE GAME!

HINT: The guy who did it twice was also an actor.

District303aPastPlayer
05-25-2004, 09:39 AM
run for, catch, and throw a touchdown, then return one on defense for a touchdown...

i thought you said this was easy

Sans Couth
05-25-2004, 09:51 AM
HINT:

It has nothing to do with touchdowns or running or catching the ball.

Sans Couth
05-25-2004, 09:53 AM
And another HINT:

You can only do this while playing defense.

District303aPastPlayer
05-25-2004, 09:53 AM
hit a guy so hard they knocked his helmet off and him out

Sans Couth

Sans Couth
05-25-2004, 10:04 AM
Stop and think about this guys. This player did something TWICE in one game on defense, that is so RARE, that it has only been done 4 times in an entire CAREER by 2 other players.

HINT: It is not a combination of anything. It is something that a defesive player can do on a single play.
