Email messages have been sent. Check the email address under your user profile to see where it was sent.

If you have any type of spam or bulk mail filter, you might check it... my email was trapped in the bulk mail folder.

Can someone explain (in 25 words or less) to some of us that aren't in the loop exactly what has happened here? Did this start with a prank that just went too far? Sorry, for my ignorance. I'm just lost here. Thanks for your time.

I got the email from Matthew. But I'm more confused than ever. Here is the email in it's entirety.

As you all know a LOT has gone down the past few
days...there have been some irreconcilable
differences between important people on the board and
thus they have had to part ways...as of right now
3adownlow will be no more...that is the bad
news...the name may come back the name may not....as
for the differences I have been put in a VERY
awkward situaton of being caught in the middle of
friends...and this hurts me greatly...I am not here
to say who is right and who is wrong in
this...what I am here to say is that YOU are the most
important people to the board...not me, not
Jacket2000, not bearcat1...and none of us are bigger than
the community you guys have developed and I
refuse to let that just die.....so here is the good
news...the message board that you guys donated
money for will still be used....you can access it at

So don't worry there will still be a
board...there may be a new site and there may not be...there
may be a new name but there may not be..BUT there
will always be the community you guys have
developed....as for my role in a future new site....I
am still debating things but there is a good
chance I'll be involved in a new board and it will be
very similar to what you guys are used
to.....just hang tight with
us and things will work out...

It was a "mass" email. All sorts of things could have happened. Any one or more of people's email servers may have been down at that time. Their email inboxes may have been full. Could be the address the site has for them is no longer correct. Could be dozens of reasons. No one should draw any conclusions if you didn't get one.
