to footballrules: i am not from everman and i dont cheer for everman. i am from forney, and if anything i should hate them cuz they beat us last year and proly will this year if we get that far. so for me to say that everman will kill glen rose does not come from someone who is biased toward everman, it comes from someone who has common sense.

i dont see glen rose averaging 40+ points per game.....and dont forget that kennedale = darkhorse.

kennedale is no pushover.....maybe in the past but not this year.

I have to go with Everman. I have seen them a couple of times this year and they have been most impressive. I still think it will be a rematch in the final between Everman and Sinton. A little early for that kind of talk, but I can see it happinging.

I went to the Kennedale Glen Rose Game tonight and was highly impressed by the both the Glen Rose football team and their fans. One of the classiest groups of people I have ever had the privlidge of meeting. If your team would have caught only a couple of breaks I think you would have won the game. As for next week I look for a good game a lot clooser than many people may be predicting. I still think Everman will come out on top but if Glen Rose comes out like they did it should be a excelent game.

Everman WILL win, but a little word of advice to the Dogs... dont come off flat footed, Glenrose can play ball. If Everman plays their game they will run off with the game. Everman has a dominating team. I still don't see how Kennedale beat them looking at the size and speed of the Bulldogs at all positions. I predict Everman 35 ----Glen Rose 0. Everman's starters will play the entire game. Glen Rose, put your track shoes on.

I would bet my life on Everman. Glen Rose doesn't have what it takes to beat them. They may make it a good game worth watching but GR won't win.

I have to go with Everman. Glen Rose is looking good and should play their hearts out against Everman. The truly competitive are not afraid to take the field with the best - it only makes them better players and a better team. Good luck to Glen Rose against Everman - play them tough. And good luck to Everman in the playoffs - they are great watching. Coach Keeling runs a good program down there and has done a great job with his kids.

J2Khehe, good stuff. i worked with one of the gr qbs this summer. threw the football around with him some too, he has a nice touch for a youngster. dont know if he is still starting for them, but good luck to gr, but i really dont think that gr will come out with a w in this one.

Thnaks for a all of the warnings about their team beieve me since the Kennedale game we made two big adjustments on defense and have allowed only 14 points in five games which averages to a wopping 2.8 points per game. With these two scores both comming within the last three minutes of the game. We have also scored 304 points in these five. Averging 60.8 points per game. The fewest amounts of points we have scored all season on any one is 33 we scored that in a 33 to 7 victory and the loss to Kennedale.

I gotta give Glen Rose credit..they played a good game on D against Kennedale..anytime you hold an offense like Kennedale to 24 you are doing something..the question is can Glen Rose do the same thing 2 weeks in a row against an offense just as powerful as Kennedale?? If they can then they have a shot....

I saw the Everman scouts at Glen Rose. They saw the trick plays and enormous amount of faking in the backfield going on. Let's see if Glen Rose will come up with new tricks for Everman. The 7 points they scored on Kennedale was mainly due to a long pass (lateral) to the running back, who in turn threw to a wide open receiver about 30-40 yards downfield. After that the tricks no longer worked.

If Glen Rose does the same types of things Alvarado did when Cunninghamm was there then that type of thing won't work well against Everman because of their D-Line..which is very strong...they tend to crash into the backfield and really cause havoc..I wonder if Glen Rose will have a lot of time to do that kind of faking..Everman has a lot of experience against spread offenses...Wilmer-Hutchins runs a spread and Lawton Ike ran a no huddle spread almost identical to Glen Rose..

With all due respect to Glen Rose, Everman will hammer the Tigers unmercifully. It will be a big margin and could get ugly in a hurry! Credit must be given to Glen Rose from going 0-3 to win 5 in a row, though. Everman is much too strong.

Based off of what I witnessed Friday night Glen Rose's spread offense and no huddle is effective to a point. On defense you guys had the right scheme and other than one break down you played a great game on defense. For as much talking as Kennedale has done the past few weeks you would have thought they were going to blow Glen Rose off the map which in my opinion didn't happen.
