You know Elgin lost to Navasota, a very good team I might add- by a score of 24-7. Now they turn the tables and win in Bi-District play. They have not ever been shutout this year. They beat Bellville giving them their only lost ,thusfar. They are the largest enrollment school classified as 3A.....That's the kind of program that emerges to play some football in the Playoffs.....Bridge City will have to prepare hard to whip them and Bridge City lost Makln Ledford possibly last night. They have lost 7 of their ace starters thusfar,it is great for Coach Tarver, to have concentrated on training able-bodied replacements for the playoffs. That's what keeps you in the Playoffs, having "game seasoned" replacements that can step in the gaps. A lot of luck goes into playoff wins as well, if you remain relatively healthy then you can stay in longer in the brackets.
