Junior pitcher/infielder/backup QB/backup shooting guard Marcus Mendez pitched a 2 hit shutout as Everman beat FW Diamond Hill 5-0 yesterday in a game that was ppd Friday due to rain....Everman is now 6-3 in 8-3A play....here are the standings
RO Castleberry 7-2
Kennedale 7-2
Glen Rose 6-3
Everman 6-3
FW Diamond Hill 4-5
Castleberry and Kennedale have split...Castleberry's other loss came to FW Diamond Hill....Kennedale's other loss was to Everman..Glen Rose has lost to Castleberry twice and Kennedale...Everman has lost to Castleberry, Glen Rose and Kennedale..Everman still has key games against Castleberry, and Glen Rose left..it is still a tough road for the Bulldogs..but a win Tuesday against Castleberry would be huge for the Bulldogs
