OMG! Giddings throws a pass with less than 3 minutes left - intercepted. BUT LG can't score and ball turns over on incomplete pass into end zone. Giddings ball w/ 1:40 left. Looks bad for Leps.

eek! Whats up Pudlugger man I can't say enough about how hard these two teams played but also can't say enough about the questionable calls and turnovers made by both teams. But hey a win is a win see you next year I hope you enjoyed the game as much as I did. :p

Can't answer for Pud, but their kicker hit his PAT after the first LaGrange TD in the 1st quarter. Looked strong. However, LG passed up two opportunities for field goals in the 1st half, and went for it on 4th down and short in the Red Zone. Got stopped both times.

In the 4th, after scoring to make in 13-21, they went for 2. Folks in Giddings thought that LG was going for the win, not the tie and overtime. (Play for the win on the road, play for the tie at home...) Got stopped. When they scored late to make it 19-21, they had to go for the 2. Got stopped again.

LG's offense controlled the ball throughout this game. Giddings had only 5 first downs and 0 pass completions. But, once again, the Giddings D kept us in the game. Blocked a punt for a score. Stopped LG when they had to, and the game was on the line.

LaGrange has great talent, and won't lose again until deep in the playoffs. But, in case I forgot to mention it earlier...

Congrats Buffs...good game. Pud will give his weekly recap after films probably. Giddings was full of fire for this one. We have some injuries we need to heal. :( Who do you all have left to play?

Hutto here. Then Elgin in Elgin. Neither game will be easy. You guys seem to have the "inside track" on 4-1 in district, with games against Smithville and Hutto remaining.

Good luck to the Leps the rest of the way. Hope we don't meet you again in the playoffs...

buffs come on my boys arent that sorry. You know what they played with yall pretty good. So how can you just say they are going to beat Smithville like that when yall could barly beat my boys from S-ville. I just dont understand why people just count us out on a win. Ya, I cant lie right now Elgin beat us silly but hey its all good. Smithville is hurting with out there Starting QB who is our for the rest of the season. But give us come created Buff dude cuz they played Giddings not just good but GREAT...........#44..........out

And one more thing. Elgin is going to beat yall its going to be a good game BUT Elgin is just a stronger team from what my lil brother steven(#2) says......but hey good luck to Giddings and to all the teams in 24 3A.............#44..........out

Not knocking Smithville. Would love to see you guys win out.

But, as you said, you've got some injuries to overcome. You've also got a tough two-game schedule coming up.

You gave Giddings all that it could handle two weeks ago. Hope that you play as well against LaGrange and Manor as you did against us...
