Please share you projected preseason planned scrimmages in Region III.

Caldwell scrimmages Hempstead and Lexington in a 3 way on the 16th at Caldwell. Caldwell scrimmages Austin Johnston in Caldwell on the 24th. Both scrimmages start at 10am. This should be an exciting year in Caldwell. The kids need to win the close games. Last year they couldn't finish in the late parts of the game. This year the team is deeper and maybe that will help them. Last year, the turn overs killed them in district play. They played Cameron great until the last 3 minutes of the game. They were down in the 4th quarter to Marlin 13 - 7, then they ran out of gas. Several of their key players played both ways all night. This year the plan is to use their depth. They were young last year with only 6 seniors. Caldwell is excited, I hope the fans stay behind the kids and coaches. Together, anything is possible!!!

Carthage is Region II, I just felt like sharing our scrimmages with everybody.

Our 1st scrimmage is against Cuero August 16th and our 2nd one is against Royal August 22nd.

Bridge City vs Cleveland Aug. 16th at Cleveland at 11:00 AM...Also, Bridge City vs Silsbee Aug. 23 at Home 11:00 AM.....Bobkat what about Orangefield's scrimmages this year?

Not sure about the dates, but Orangefield scrimmages LCM at home and they travel to Livingston the next week. Should be a couple of good scrimmages for our young team. Livingston is suppose to be improved and LCM, well their LCM. You don't ever know how they're going to be, and since we don't play week zero I think we might have a third scrimmage as well. eek!

To Bobcat: LCM and Livingston should be a good test duo...If I remember right they spared with Vidor last year-Livingston should be a more equal scrimmage. Keep us posted as to times and dates.

I'll try and get the exact date etc... for ya Old Card, but Marlin's coming to town the week after our scrimmage with La Grange... Dunno if it's Thurs, Fri or Sat...

Do any of you bulldog fans happen to know?

Do any of you bulldog fans happen to know?We are gonna pretty good. Our defense is going to be quick and dominating. The only thing we need to work on is our offensive line, but we will have a solid year.
