TSWA 3A All-State Teams

I guess the earlier all-state team was from the Associated Press? I assume this is the Texas Sports Writers Assoc. Is there still going to be one from the Coaches? Can any one give feedback?

it is my understanding that these players were nominated by their coaches to the TSWA where the AP list was sportswriters opinions only. there is no true coaches team, no way a coach could make any better a choice unless he watched extensive videos of all players nominated and corresponded with those players coaches and opposing coaches.

TSWA is probably as close as you'll get to a coach picked team.

You also have to remembe that the AP All-State team is for REGULAR SEASON only. They DO NOT take post season into affect at all. The TSWA All-State Poll does take post season into consideration!

That's why the two teams differ so much. A lot of poeple seem not to understand that!!
