I know this isn't football, but want to pass this on, Legendary Scout leader Gerald Smith of Corpus Christi has passed away. The world is a sadder place this morning. Story at www.caller.com (http://www.caller.com)

His family will be in our prayers. A cousin of mine made Eagle Scout in CC, probably under him. God bless him...

He served on the council training staff for many years also. He was on the staff in my Woodbadge course. Moral to this one is don't ever let anyone tell you ONE man can't make a difference. This one certainly did.

Don`t believe people like scout leaders, who donate their time for kids, get enough credit for what they give to society.

Remember that way back when I was in scouting that we really did not understand that the scouting experience was something we could use all our lives. As you get older you understand what these people contribute.
