What is going on in Coldsprings. this is very disapointing. BH plays Cleveland next at their house looks like the Eagles will get no rest this year in District.

man I knew Cleveland would be better this year and that Coldspring was struggling offensively, but I would have never dreamed 39-0 for cleveland.

In our game Shepherd won 41-0.

Man this is a surprise to me. Either Cleveland is alot better or Coldspring is not very good this year. I think it is a combination of both.

something exciting about this is that if cleveland is getting better and makes playoffs then we go D2...lets just hope they arent too much better next week lol

Yeah Eagles52 I agree with you. This district race is going to be very interesting. It sure would be nice to get a second shot at Anahuac, but there are still alot of games to play and alot of good teams to face.

To be honest, I like it better in a tougher district. The good teams will find a way to get it done and it will just make them stronger come play off time.

Eagle.eyes, don't understand the meaning of your probably negative comment - but who did win district last year in basketball? It's been fun for ya'll to jump on Cleveland, but we may suprise you in the classroom and on the field this year.

Sorry it took so long to respond, been a tough weekend.

Bottom line on this one is that it's us. Cleveland didn't win it that big, we lost it that big. I was talking with the BH scouts all night during the game and they agreed. We have probs, for sure, not even close to last year's team, but Cleveland has a good team, but not 40 point better.

If playing this way, Tarkington will beat us again.

hey "von lic" CLEVELAND WON DISTRICT to best of my knowledge in 93 as 4a, 97 as 4a, 98 99 and 2000 as 3a. we dropped down to 3a when UIL said to - not by cheating as you implied! i think the discussions here should be respectful of every school and posters should attempt to be accurate. i bet you'll agree.
