High school football is a way of life for some people. I would rather watch it than watch nfl on sundays. Or it might be me around here in west texas, high school football is the talk of the town. Midland Greenwood football #1!!!! Cause they r in the game!!!

I love highschool football because it lacks perfection. When you have the best of the best playing each other the degree of error is smaller and smaller. Highschool gives you that little unknown and those who prepare the hardest are the most successful.

What's better than High School Football. Not much. I would much rather pay $5.00 to what high school than $50 or up to watch the pros. In high school you have kids giving their all for the love of the game. High School athletics are great entertainment.

There's football, then there's small town high school football where you know most of the people at the game on the home side. Its going out to eat with friends, yelling encouragement to our young people and in many cases watching them reap the rewards of their hard work. Yeah high school football is alright. :D

The best part about a home football game is the meal after a win.

High School Football - YEP! Some 3A schools do not play football. This is true of my current home, so I find other schools to cheer for.

Absolutely! All the drugs and money-grubbing turned me off of pro sports long ago and college is not much better nowadays. Regardless of the quality of play, that $5.00 ticket on Friday night is the best Norman Rockwell/small town America experience around (especially in Tiger Stadium).

for excitement nothing beats a good h/s basketball game.
for a social event nothing beats a good h/s baseball tournament.
for debilitating injuries that will last a lifetime nothing beats h/s football.

Every year, they adjust the capacity of Buckeye Stadium to match the population of the town. Almost everything in the town is closed, and the stadium is always packed. During the playoffs, it's amazing how many people from a town of 4799 show up to support the Buckeyes.
I saw Jimmy Hoffa at Rose Stadium this past December. :D
