Is Venus sand bagging in District 8-3A? Is that a misprint in the Fort Worth Star Telegram? Everyone, including me, thought Glen Rose would win this one. Someone who was at the game please report. Here are some stats: 1st downs: V-16 GR-5, rushing: V-242 GR-9, Passing: V-87 GR-31, Fumbles/lost: V-6/5 GR-5/3.
The stats also show GR Matt Frazee 10 rushes-60 yards so the total rush stat above is a misprint.
It looks like this game had a lot of turnovers.

Not necessarily. That just shows the one kid's stats. When the QB is sacked, it takes away from the teams rushing stats. Either way, Im completely shocked at this one. No, wait, Im really not. Things like that tend to happen with Mark Cunningham around(did I say that outloud?).

Hey Venus, is much improved...Kennedale could be in for a tougher game than people think...Carlos Stone is a GREAT coach and they have a pretty good running back who didn't play football last year...Venus has really turned things around and it looks like they'll be a playoff team!
