Bandera last year, had the honor of playing six to five more weeks as the season ended. Now we play but Basketball.
As the good teams line up to play they must understand it is do or die from now on.
It is all on the line. Each minute of every game, every play, every thought for the next 288 or 240 minutes will be your life tied up in a singular moment. A moment that lets you wear the second most important ring in your life.
The State Championship Ring will be wore only by a few of the thousands of dreamers that began practice 7 maybe 6 years ago as seventh graders. The hours the pain all end here.
After this it is over.
I wish that the few and the proud that win it all this year truly understand how it will change you forever.
But most importantly, that you go on and prove yourself worthy to both your hometown and your State.
Worthy of being a State Champion from 3-A football in Texas.
