Just found out that a Permian football player (Trey Howell) who was badly injured in a wreck in July and has been in a coma finally had a BIG breakthrough today. He has been semi-conscious for a while, he could eat on his own and was showing emotion (mostly anger)!
Today, out of the blue, he started talking. Saying Hi to all of his family and his therapist. He got the OK for a 10 day pass and was going to be able to be home for the holidays. I am sure this new turn of events will make the Howell Christmas better than ever.
Praise the Lord!!!
BTW, if any of you would like to drop a congratulatory note, here is a website with a guest book! I am just so happy for him!!
