I don't know when or where the playoffs are for out district 30 3A yet but I do know Sinton has a bye and will play the winner of Falfurrias vs Hidalgo. Mathis will play Hondo and West Oso plays Pharr Valley View.

looks like there's a lot that's still TBD. The UIL website has brackets, but several spots are still empty...I'm assuming there must be a lot of tie-breaker games.

Barbers Hill Varsity is tied for #1 with Liberty..I think..It'll really be determined tomorrow at Dayton High School. GO EAGLES! :D

I think on Tuesday at West Brook High School, Bridge City will play Liberty in the first round.

I think that Wimberley is going to be one of the toughest teams to beat in the playoffs this year seeing as how we beat SanAntonio Clark the #1 team in 5A in three games. I like the Texans chances this year. GO BIG BLUE!

The Sinton Lady Pirates play the Premont Lady Cowgirls in a warmup game tonight in Premont. It isn't a real playoff game but just one to keep the players in tune.

White Oak should have little trouble reaching the regional finals in reg 2 but will face a good team in either Bonham, Pleasant Grove, or Carthage in the reg finals. Good luck to the Ladynecks.

We all know Wimberley is going to the finals. They been there for the past three years. I wouldn't be suprised if they won state.

They now play the winner of the Pearsall vs Pharr Valley who are playing tonight but I don't yet know who won their game.Pharr Valley beat Pearsall 4-1. They dropped the first game 16-25, but then went on to win the next 3 25-21, 25-18 & 25-12. Don't know where they'll play. Congrats to the Sinton Lady Pirates and GOOD LUCK next week!!!!

Conference 3A

1. Wimberley
2. Kountze
3. Bonham
4. Denver City
5. Monahans
6. Caldwell
7. Carthage
8. Texarkana Pleasant Grove
9. Longview Spring Hill
10. Canyon

Two-time defending champ Wimberley is as good as there is beating 5A top-ranked Churchill in a warm-up match last weekend. Kountze is athletic and Bellville has shown flashes of past glory while Caldwell is strong and both Denver City and Monahans are very good. Bonham is through the top good and is on a monster win streak of their own.

Look in the final four for Monahans, Bonham, Kountze and Wimberley -- BUT don't be surprised to see Denver City, Texarkana Pleasant Grove, Barber's Hill or Sinton -- AND watch out for Canyon, Carthage, Van Alstyne, Hutto, Caldwell and Bellville.

Pirate you might ought to add the winner of next Tuesday's match between Orange Grove and Devine to that list. Orange Grove has an outstanding player in Jodi Myers.
