State Champs??

Hmmm, after watching Sweetwater last Saturday I was pretty excited, but I think Midland Greenwood will give them a run for their money.

I'll say Midland Greenwood wins it all and then take American History for $400 Alex...

I like both Greenwood and Sweetwater but I don't think either team has much of a chance against Daingerfield...if Spring Hill pulls the upset and wins well ya never know..but I like Marlin over Daingerfield in a thriller..

I am going with D-Filed all the way. I have seen them play the last two weeks and they are better every time the step on the field. They have so many good RBs that they don't have to worry about getting tired at the end and the QB can throw it if he has to and is a big time run threat and is one heck of a kicker. But most of all that defense is just plain brutal. Them boys don't just hit they pound you. I haven't seen a defense hit like that all year. This team has seemed to peak right at the right time and they just seem to get better every week.

Don't completely discount the region I teams. Both Sweetwater and Greenwood can play better than most in the state think that they can. Both have offenses that can move the ball and defenses that are quick and disciplined. Athleticism is not the only criteria when picking a team.

Marlin will walk away with it, no matter who comes out on top of Region I or II. I do think that Sweetwater is the strongest team and Daingerfield is the weakest one left over there. The State Championship was decided between Newton and Marlin several weeks ago.

i dont think it was decided between newton and marlin i think newton was overrated i have in the state chaminonship marlin and dangerfield in a close game marlin wins it all and in d1 i think jasper over everman

I will definately have to go with Marlin. I think they can beat whoever they play in the title. They gave us a run for our money, and nearly beat us (BURNET)! They deserve to win because they have never given up this whole season!
