Arkansas is making a "Mock"ery of the Longhorns.

Get Mock out now before this turns into a rout. He is not Big 12 QB material. Always count on Brown to make the wrong QB decision.

09-13-2003, 01:32 PM
...you just described a "man"...

They are "Chance"ing the game with Mock in.

The game is kinda hard to watch. At least Texas forced Arkansas to punt.
Did yall hear that rumor about this game?
It's been said that if Arkansas wins, a Clinton will go back to the white house.*shivering*

..and YES I call it fake when the "wrestlers" practice the falls and the jabs and the tossing....I'm not saying it doesn't hurt, but geeeezzz, get real! The last time I was surfing the channels, I say two big oily dudes going at it and the one on top ( eek! ) had scissors and preceeded to cut the other ones long blonde locks off to a wild, cheering, chanting crowd....yeah that happens in boxing..........

Bandera YaYa

No, this game is over. Brown won't play Young. That sealed the Longhorns' fate.

Why recruit the top player in the nation if you're not gonna play him? This is un"bleepin"believable.

Bandera YaYa
09-13-2003, 02:07 PM
Well, I have to say, after seeing pictures of a man choking a woman and seeing a picture of a girl pulling her shorts down and after reading the story about why the man is choking the woman, yes, I have to admit I do understand why you would like wrestling....and why you won't be performing brain surgery any time soon.

A man choking a woman...entertainment??? Gee, they should throw in a small child and maybe toss him across the ring....I bet the crowd would go crazy!!!!

3afan2K3
09-13-2003, 02:09 PM
There is a one legged wrestler in the WWE. And where did you see this picture of "choking" at?

You have to have a LOT of talent to be fortunate enough to get in the WWE.

Bandera YaYa
09-13-2003, 02:39 PM
Well, that might be true, they may have a LOT of talent, cuz after years of taking steroids, that's about all they will have a LOT of! eek!

Bandera YaYa
09-13-2003, 02:41 PM
back to the real entertainment...well, Texas really blew that one big time.....would hate to be in Austin about now!

Gilmer Buckeye

I known Brown will never bench him, but is there any way we can petition the admissions office at UT to at least kick Chance Mock out of school or something?

The last couple of possessions were the worst-led series of downs by any UT QB since benchwarming time-server Richard Walton stepped into the starting role after James Brown graduated in 1998. Mock even makes Chris Simms look good and I absolutely loathed Simms.

'John-Boy' Walton was quickly replaced by a brilliant freshman redshirt named Major Applewhite. It helped that Walton was knocked out of game by injury or Applewhite might never have been given the chance.

We just so happen to have a brilliant freshman redshirt on the sideline this year also. What a coincidence. If he remains on the sideline too much longer, I believe there'll be A LOT of season tickets to Longhorn games available each week at bargain basement prices.

I agree on all that also. But have you ever heard of a "catalyst." That's what Vince Young is. When he comes in the game, the whole team gets excited. Had he started, a lot of what happened afterward might not have because of the extra adrenalin of having a charismatic starter with the athleticism that, let's face it, everyone knows Mock doesn't have.

Mock had four or five passes batted down. Another flashback and eerie similarity to Simms. It's more excusable in Mock's case since he's "only 6'2".

Mock is a workmanlike scout team QB. That's all he ever was and all he ever will be. I'll bet Roy Williams is really having second thoughts as to why he gave up millions of dollars to spend one more year in Austin.

My sentiments exactly, 75. As much as I can't wait for Young to get his chance, the defense wasn't there today, and even he could not have saved them.
