MLB Playoffs

What are your picks for the MLB playoffs this year?

Here's what I'm hoping for:

Boston over Oakland
Minnesota over New York

Florida over San Fransisco
Chicago over Atlanta

More realistically though, I think that it's going to be:

Boston over Oakland
New York over Minnesota

San Fransisco over Florida
Atlanta over Chicago.

I'd like to see a Cubs-Sox series, or see Florida and Pudge make it to the big show.

Boston over New York

Florida over San Francisco
Chicago over Atlanta

Florida over Chicago (although this would probably be the other way around)

Would like to see Pudge get there also.

I'd also LOVE to see a Sox-Cubs series!! Wouldn't that be one for the history books? Here is how I hope things play out:

Boston over Oakland
New York over Minnesota
San Fran over Florida
Cubs over Atlanta

I'd love for the Giants to win it this year, but a SOX-CUBS series would just be any true baseball fan's ultimate series!!

Here is what I would like to see happen. The Red Sox and The Marlins will be in the World Series, there will be 2 outs in the 9 th inning with The Marlins at bat down by 1 run. The Marlins have runners at 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs. The Red Sox will again be 1 out from winning the World Series. Pudge is at the plate for the Marlins and he hits a lazy routine fly ball to Manny Ramirez. He is camped under it and then the ball pops out of his glove and the Marlins win the series. Boy, that would really stir up the talk about the curse of the Bambino then. I would love it.

I got Chicago and Boston in the Series. One of the curses will be lifted.

I'd love to see Florida beat SF, and Minn. beat NY, but both are doubtful, even w/ Minn. winning game one.

SF takes Game 1 2-0 over the Marlins in a great pitching duel...wish the Rangers had a guy who could throw like Beckett...only gives up two runs and still loses? He'd be 20-0 with Texas! Well, not really, but he'd be good.

We are seeing here in the playoffs that the old saying is true. Good pitching beats good hitting anyday. I think the winner of the Cubs vs Marlins matchup will win it all.

The NL winner will be the team I'll be rooting for this year. If it's the Marlins, it's because of Pudge. If it's the Cubs, it's because of their history, and I just like them better than the BoSox.
