SURVEY FOR SCHOOL PROJECT, we need AT LEAST 30 people to participate...

ok listen up everybody...our dear friend 'dawgmama's' daughter is doing a school project and has to do a survey, she cant post a poll so im doing it...please make a choice, she needs at least 30 people but i KNOW we can get way more that that...

the question is

Which High School sport do you enjoy watching the most ?

i think, however, if you were to put this in a different kind of forum, not just a 3A football forum, you might get COMPLETELY different results...

I'm guess boys baskteball is getting points since we're in the thick of crowning some new State Champs, but football by far is the best!

I have nothing against football, saw plenty of it last year with Greenwood. Softball is all right there alot of action and not stuck in a hot gym, just my two cents.

Just a side note for the young lady and her project. While I cannot speak in particular about all school districts, I feel safe in assuming that what occurs in Decatur is fairly consistant throughout our state. What occurs here is that the gate recipts from football equals the total ammount of money budgeted for all equipment for every sport played in High School. In other words....football pays for all other sports.
Without football "profits" different funding sources would have to be found in order to have Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Track etc. That means higher taxes or pay-to-play. Good luck on your project.
