I am so tired of great defensive efforts going virtually unnoticed in the news media. I can understand the tv stations showing mostly offense due to time constraints but, you would think in the newspapers you could get some recognition as a team and/or an individual when it is obvious that the team/player makes key plays that change the outcome of the game. Am I way off base here, or have others noticed also? Go ahead and be honest.

I agree. But the offense scores most of the points and get most of the glamor. I guess it is what sells the papers. The Dallas Morning News at least has a offensive and defensive player of the week, every week, so defensive standouts do get a little press.
