My wife has said she is going to the game, and I asked her to take her cellphone and call me with updates. One way or the other, we will get some updates on here. Pretty sure pirate4state will be at the games, so we probably won't hear from her until after.

According to the UIL website, Canyon took the 1st game in 8 innings, 7-6. Good Luck to the rest of the teams playing tonight & tomorrow night & if needed Saturday night! :D

Austin: The Texas Sports Radio Network is only covering 5A & 4A games at this point----Maybe, just maybe, if we all call and ask: they might reconsider! It would be interesting if a host of us calling in, can impact their programming scheme.....I found a contact point on their website and wrote them a plea for 3a coverage, hope you have time to do the same!
