I was visiting with a West Orange-Stark fan last night and he related how a bunch of GIANT Juniors had dominated most of 4A last year. Consider the odds of 39 Seniors coming back to play 3A ball the next year. I have never seen a town so confident of a State Championship, and judging at what I have seen thusfar, they they may very well have shot at it.....I will make a gross prediction however-Bridge City will play them as good a game for the Defense of the Region III Championship Crown, as any team that they might meet in the Playoffs! Tarver is a smart Coach at Bridge City and his boys will be trying for the upset to the bitter end. They want be cocky like Jasper, but they will be working diligently against the odds...Regardless of the outcome, we all will support the Champion of Region III, whoever that might be, in their quest for the State Championship Title.
