I agree with Rebel on the Giddings-Yoe game. A defensive-minded coach like Ivie and his staff will find a way to stop a one-dimensional offense.

I read on here that one person said not to judge a team on their past performances..... so cameron only beat Caldwell 7-0 and Elgin beat'em 38-0, Cameron went and beat the Elgin Wildcats
24-0 at Elgin..... It might have been a tough game at the beginning but the cameron Yoemen came through and won the game......

Giddings and Yoe will be a good game, but the way the Buffs have been playing lately, i think they can pull out a win against the overrated Yoe. They may have the skill but they don't have the heart that the Buffs do. Having a defense like they do, Cameron needs to try some trickery or something to score. Mike Jones and Chris Winn will give Cameron hell when they match up. Not to mention the passing attack by Blasig.

I have not seen Giddings but I saw what the Yoe defense did to Elgin. Every point was a direct result of the defense.

either way it will be a good game because the Giddings offense is ranked 3rd in Centex while the defense is ranked 5th. Cameron's offense is 5th and the offense is 3rd. They match up perfectly. It will be a good game when these two trains collide.

It might be a scrimmage, but Giddings scored 5 touchdowns on Bellville's first team defense, and Bellvill's first team offense did not score on Gidding's first team D.

First of all, Bellville is not in District 18 so stop talking about them. Next, if Pittman is so awesome how come Blasig has more passing yards than he does this season. And Giddings has over 200 yards more rushing than the Yoe. Bottom line: nobody will get blown out. It will be a close game and a good one. Giddings by 6.

Ok... Bellville deserves any mentions they get. Bellville is a far superior team now that they have their routine down. And besides, giddings only scored 3 touchdowns and Bellville's 2nd team Offense (Led by Jess Buenger) scored twice on their 2nd D. And Bellville stroked them in OT. So... draw any conclusions you want, but Bellville deserves to be talked about...

It could get ugly, Boys!
They had a huge off-season. They were playing last year with overweight lineman that beched pressed 185lbs.
These guye worked harder than any team I've ever seen in the off-season. This summer was one of the best I've seen for a group of kids! Remember they lost out in 7-on-7 to the state champs by only two points.
They have a great SR. class with much more leadership and DISCIPLINE than Cameron. Their Secondary could match up with anyone 1A-5A. Their offensive line is huge! Their coached is very good. he worked their butts off to prepare them for this game! SORRY YOE!Giddings is Stronger, Faster, More Disciplined, More Mature, and extremly Fast!
With all that said theier biggest strength is their coaching staff. They are coached very well at every position including the Secondary and Defensive Line.
My Pick Giddings will pull away in the 4th quarter and will be playing in the Quarter-finals and it the opponent won't be the Yoemen!

I never said Giddings' defense sucked. In fact, I remember they used to hit me pretty hard... but all I'm saying is, don't count out the Brahmas' defense either. They're a strong group of guys and doing a helluva job killin folks. John Syptak (#55) has had 2 hits of the week already on HS Sports Extra. Reply please...

i havent really been keeping up with too many other teams this year but now that i know the buffs won district i'll start looking and by the way you talk about Bellville i guess i'll be hearing a lot about them. Tell me if they won Friday.
