In fact Region 3 won three of the five class State championships in volleyball and won State runner-ups in one of the remaining two. Not bad at all. In class A Round Top - Carmine defeating long time defending State Champion Wimberly, Wimberley won in class 3A, and San Antonio Cark won in 5A. In Class 2A Poth was runner up State Champions. In one poll Wimberley and San Antonio Clark were ranked No. 1 and 2 respectively. In fact Wimberley is probably one of the top high schools in the country if not the top. A great year for Region 4 in volleyball. Way to go girls!
