This will be the 4th time since 1998 that Wylie will have played the team that is #1 or spent time @ #1 in the 2nd round of the playoffs. In 1998 and 1999, they lost to Breckenridge @ Gordon Wood. In 2000, they beat Aledo at Birdville. Additionally, they beat Everman in 2000 in the semis and Everman had started the season at #1. This year they will play Everman who has been ranked #1 by many different polls throughout the season. That is a lot of top teams to be playing the 2nd round. It is becoming almost a regular occurance for Wylie.
