As a mom, my heart hurts for you guys, especially the Srs. '02. It is so hard to come so far in the playoffs and have it end, especially against a team you thought you would beat handily. My heart stopped several times in that game! At one point I thought I would just keel over. You were the absolutely toughest team that the Buffs faced all year. Good Lord, ya'll are FAST! I want to wish you the best of luck in all that the future brings you. Hold your heads high. Your program's history tells me you'll be back in the playoff hunt soon. God Bless!

I have been a Newton fan from afar because they are a small enrollment school that plays big. Congratulations on a fine season. Does Newton have much coming back next year to reload for another run?

Newton does have a fine squad and we will be ready to contend again next yr but I'm afraid we will be terrorizing 2A instead of 3A. Should make it interesting......
