No one can touch the Leps in 24AAA. Those guys are the real deal. Great coaching and players. LG has a top notch program.....

No disrespect to LG, but Elgin has a great team. Elgin's weakness is that they win only when they want to prove something and when prepare for strong opponents.

I don't understand your statement, Hornet. Please elaborate.

Elgin should NOT have lost to Navasota! They fiddle-farted around after beating Bellville and didn't focus on Navasota, which has a good first-year coach (formerly of Wimberley).

Looking at the score and stats in the paper. Elgin lost 6 fumbles and something like 2 turnovers returned for TD's. But you are right, they should have beat Navasota. Didn't Navasota win last week against Wharton?

Yup. Navasota narrowly beat Wharton by 2, and that showed signs of the program turning the corner. They'll contend next year.

Live at the Bee Hive. Be there or be square. Caldwell has the goods this go around, but Tyrone Miller's return (as interesting as its timing is) could make a slight difference. You'd never know we have only eight seniors (some not starting). Packed house for sure.... Caldwell 20, Cameron 17

Is Caldwell stadium a tough place to play for opponents?

When the crowd gets fired up, yes. Audibles are earth-shattering for quarterbacks when fans are pumped and the band gets riled.
